Chester Limbaugh was a prominent member of the Chrysler Design Studio for thirty-eight years. Many of his renderings were forged into the most exciting period of automobile design. His contributions have been documented in national publications and examples of his work were featured in the long-running, “Automobiles In America” exibit at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

About Chester

Chester Limbaugh was born in Tullahoma Tennessee. His family relocated to Chicago where he attended St. Luke Lutheran School. In 1952, He graduated from the famed Lane Tech High School in Chicago before serving in the Army for two years. Chester returned to the states and attended ‘Art Center College’ in Los Angeles (now called ‘The Art Center College Of Design’ in Pasadena, CA). Chester earned his Bachelor Of Professional Arts, majoring in Industrial Design. In 1958, Chester accepted a position with Chrysler Corporation and the Limbaugh's moved to Michigan. Chester remained a respected member of the Chrysler Design Staff for thirty-eight years. Following his retirement from Chrysler, he resumed his artistic pursuits, painting in acrylics.
